Perform repairs on residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience is a plus
  • NATE certified, or acquire NATE certification within 6 months of employment
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience making repair and replacement decisions
  • Advanced customer service skills: personable, with good customer relations
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices is a plus
  • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
  • Willing to help with installs if needed
  • Willing to work overtime

Schedule

8:30A to 5:30P, Monday through Friday. Weekends, overtime, and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Familiar with hand tools; HVAC tools a plus
  • Advanced customer service skills: personable, with good customer relations
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices and/or basic electrical a plus
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems a plus, but not a requirement

We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management, field personnel, and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and email, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive and professional staff and client relationships; welcome and greet clients and office guests
  • Support office staff and executives with general operational tasks; perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties
  • Schedule meetings, presentations, and other office events; send appointment reminders
  • Answer phones professionally; direct calls or take detailed messages
  • Manage communication in and out of the office: letters, emails, memos, outgoing mail and packages
  • Assist in preparation of construction documents
  • Dispatch service and installation calls to techs and installers; maintain the electronic dispatch board
  • Keep the office clean and organized

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2+ years experience as an administrative assistant and/or dispatcher
  • ESC by DESCO software experience preferred
  • Fast, proficient, and accurate typist
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other administrative programs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-starter who works well independently and on a team in a small office
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to complete them
  • Familiar with common office equipment (printers, copier, fax)
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
